What is the best way to connect your Samsung TV to a Bluetooth speaker?

If your TV came with a Smart Remote, it supports Bluetooth. If you are not sure, you may also verify by heading to Settings > Sound > Sound Output. There you will have the choice of Bluetooth Speaker List if your TV supports Bluetooth. If your TV does not have this menu configured, check your user handbook.

How to pair your LG TV with a Bluetooth speaker

Check your TV’s handbook to see if it supports Bluetooth since LG has been doing so for a few years already. With your TV switched on, click Settings > Advanced Settings > Sound > Sound Out. Then pick LG Sound Sync Bluetooth from the list, then select Detect. Choose your device from the list to pair and pick the device you wish to pair (your device needs to be in pairing mode for it to appear on the list of available devices).

How to attach a Bluetooth speaker to your TCL TV

Only certain TCL TVs feature Bluetooth, so review your user manual to determine whether your TCL TV has Bluetooth. If it does, go to Settings > Network & connection > Bluetooth and change it to the “On” setting. After that, click “Pair new device” and pick the gadget you wish to link (your device needs to be in pairing mode for it to appear on the list of available devices).

How to attach a Bluetooth speaker to your Sony TV

Sony XBR series TVs, starting in 2017, offer Bluetooth. You can see if your TV has Bluetooth capabilities by looking at the model support page. Use the TV remote to navigate to Settings > Network & Accessories > Bluetooth if this is a concern for you. Pick “Add device” and select the device you wish to pair (your device has to be in pairing mode for it to display on the list of possible devices).

How to attach a Bluetooth speaker to your Vizio TV

Bluetooth is available on select Vizio TVs, although only Bluetooth LE (low energy) may be used to connect mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. Bluetooth speakers and Vizio TVs are not compatible at this time.

How to attach a Bluetooth speaker to your Hisense TV

Most Hisense TVs do not feature Bluetooth, so be sure to review your TV’s handbook. Turn on Bluetooth by selecting Menu > Settings > Network > Bluetooth from the remote control if your TV has it. Once you’ve done that, choose the device with which you wish to link (your device needs to be in pairing mode for it to appear on the list of available devices).

Here’s how to hook up your Fire TV to a Bluetooth speaker (Toshiba and Insignia models)

Most Fire TVs, both Toshiba and Insignia models, feature Bluetooth. To link a Bluetooth speaker, navigate to Home > Settings > Controllers & Bluetooth Devices > Other Bluetooth Devices. Pick the Bluetooth device you wish to link by clicking “Add Bluetooth Devices” (your device needs to be in pairing mode for it to appear on the list of available devices).

How to attach a Bluetooth speaker to your Roku TV

A Bluetooth speaker and a solitary Roku TV cannot be connected at this time.

How to connect a Bluetooth speaker to your TV if it doesn’t have Bluetooth

If your TV doesn’t have Bluetooth, you may invest in a low-latency Bluetooth transmitter, which connects into your TV’s audio-out socket (3.5mm headphone jack, RCA connectors, USB or optical) (3.5mm headphone jack, RCA jacks, USB or optical). Up to two devices can be connected using the Avantree Audiokast Plus.

Using your Bluetooth speaker after it is connected with your TV

Unless the Bluetooth speaker is turned off, your TV will use the audio from the speaker you’ve associated with it. You may always go back in through the pairing method detailed above and choose your speaker to detach it (and it will connect the next time you turn on your TV) or ignore it (and you will have to repair the speaker to use it).
